Learn How to Connect a Bluetooth Headset to Your Cell

Cellular phones have become an increasingly important part of our communications because of the convenience of portability, organization, ability to surf the net, calendar, camera and more. Freeing up your hands during conversations offers even more performance and safety and we are here to tell you how.

Instructions for connecting your Bluetooth headset microphone to your Motorola V600, V710, A630, or A845 cell phone. A headset allows you to free up your hands for other tasks such as working, walking, exercising or safe driving.

Connecting your Bluetooth to your cell phone is not difficult but the time it takes to complete the connection may vary fom user to user. Techies can do it in their sleep. Heck, my grand daughter can do it.

Step by Step How To:

1. Press and hold the Multi-function button in the middle of a BT headset while the headset is closed. The light should glow blue.

2. Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1.

3. Press Menu on the cell phone > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device

4. When you detect a connection, select HS810.

5. Enter the pass key "0000" to confirm the connection has been made.

6. You will now see "Bluetooth Connection" on the cell phone screen.

Tips:

1. If you have set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone should automatically re-connect to the headset.

2. To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connection, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select it. Scroll to Power, then chose Change. Scroll to "On" then press Select. The screen should now show "Changed: Power "On".

3. To test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for your cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset> the phone should connect automatically displaying> "Bluetooth Connected".
